We Cannot Stay at the Blue Bird Cafe

'We had some good times here, but it has gone bad. We won't burn it down (yet), but we cannot stay.' The Mother of Firebees and some firebees walk away from the Blue Bird Cafe, where a letter with the words 'Dear Twitter' has been nailed to the front door.

We Cannot Stay at the Blue Bird Cafe

Yesterday, I wrote Twitter a Dear John letter. I will no longer be active there. I will still write, draw, make silly videos, and keep being me. I just won't be doing much of it on that platform. I may still use it to link to new work or occasionally participate at an event, but it's no longer a good place to contact or engage with me.

P.S. My lettering is clearly an area that needs a lot of improvement. I know it. I blame years of not handwriting anything because I computer for a living. I will be practicing. Hopefully it will get better.

Edit: I cannot deal with how terrible my own handwriting is. I replaced it with a handwriting font.
